Job Description

DUTIES: Responsible for developing automation frameworks and applications software using Java, and JavaScript, and NodeJS; write automated tests using Cypress; develop automated API testing for RESTful APIs using Postman or REST Assured; automate build, test and deployment processes using Jenkins pipelines; automate testing builds using Concourse; using Agile Methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; use SQL to query databases, verify data integrity, and perform database operations in automation scripts; perform test automation for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber; perform version control using GitHub; write, debug, and deploy software applications using Visual Studio IDE; use Generative AI (GenAI) algorithms to generate test cases, generate structured and un-structured test data, detect anomalies, and execute autonomous tests; write automated test code, using the same standards as a Software Engineer, that allows for repeatable, reliable testing solutions to test the wide functionality of products and software; execute automated test scripts for every release on the CI/CD pipeline and fix failures accordingly; perform code reviews of automation scripts and front-end codebases in a version control system; analyze and automate REST web services called by the application for display of data and error handling; and automate and execute (in every release) new features, performance scripts to measure speed, reliability, and resiliency of the software. Position is eligible to work remotely one or more days per week, per company policy.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, and two (2) years of experience developing automation frameworks and applications using Java, JavaScript, and NodeJS; writing automated tests using Cypress; developing automated API testing for RESTful APIs using Postman or REST Assured; automating build, test and deployment processes using Jenkins pipelines; automating testing builds using Concourse; using Agile Methodologies including Scrum or Kanban; using SQL to query databases, verify data integrity, and perform database operations in automation scripts; performing test automation for Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber; performing version control using GitHub; writing, debugging, and deploying software applications using Visual Studio IDE; and using Generative AI (GenAI) algorithms to generate test cases, generate structured and un-structured test data, detect anomalies, and execute autonomous tests.
