Energetic Manager

Job Description:

- Develop and oversee operational strategies within the Energy / Water scope at Facility Management level, national / site.

- Contribute to the overall strategy: target settings, OP (Operational Plan) definition/ MPR (Master Plan Review), Flight Path, project definition, RFP (Request for Proposal), metering roadmap, site master plan, operational guidelines.

- Propose and coordinate Energy / Water saving opportunities and projects. Monitor projects Energy / Water efficiency achievement of target at delivery stage (commissioning).

- Manage EPC (Energy Performance Contract) execution with supplier.

- Anticipate and ensure compliance with international/ national regulations and standards regarding Energy/ Water Perimeter scope (projects implementation, subsidies requests, audits).

- Collect, report, and analyse CO2 / Energy / Water data, ensure accuracy and availability of data, for internal and external reporting. Manage associated digitalization.

- Follow and monitor Energy / Water performance indicators, for FM perimeter at local / national level. Build forecast according to assumptions and projects while considering targets achievement.

- Manage Energy / Water delivery points.

- Act as the FM focal point at local and /or national level for  CO2 / Energy / Water topics, providing site and domain related expertise, including FM projects validation on the matter (e.g. CapEx files).

- Benchmark, investigate and share new technologies and best practices for Energy / Water targets achievement.

Your main tasks include:
● Responsibility for the Energy Compliance Management System (ECMS) and local representation of the site in group-internal energy teams.
● Preparation and management of energy management compliance reports and relevant key figures.
● Maintenance of databases regarding all energy metrics and preparation of statutory reports.
● Continuation of all system documents and creation of management reports within the framework of ISO 50001:2020.


Project and Measure Management:
● Identifying opportunities for energy savings and defining as well as implementing action plans for energy conservation.
● Development, documentation, and evaluation of energy-saving measures to implement the Energy Vision 2030 and the Energy Master Plan 2030+.
● Collaboration in specialist groups (Electrical, HVAC, building management systems, new construction, and especially production teams).


Data Analysis and Optimization:
● Maintaining and validating energy data.
● Analyzing data to identify consumption drivers and create consumption profiles.
● Reconciliation of forecast and actual consumption, including the further development of EnPIs (Energy Performance Indicators).
● Co-development and implementation of sustainability measures to achieve the group's environmentally relevant goals.


Reporting and Coordination:
● Monitoring, forecasting, and reporting of budget, savings, and roadmap in the energy sector.
● Technical coordination of the multifunctional site energy team.
● Supervision and control of technical business partners on behalf of Facility Management (external company coordination).
● Active membership in divisional and group-wide energy teams.


Your Profile:
● Completed degree in Energy Management, Energy Technology, Industrial Engineering with a focus on energy, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

● Knowledge of ISO 50001:2020 and relevant energy industry legislation (e.g., EEG, KWKG, EnWG) is advantageous.
● Experience in project management and team coordination.
● Proficient use of energy data analysis tools and MS Office applications.
● Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
● High degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and assertiveness.
● Business-fluent German and good English skills.
