Job Summary:  

This position is responsible for ongoing maintenance of clients in our employee benefit administration system, Employee Navigator. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Configure customized benefit administration systems tailored around the needs of the client, specifics of sold policies, and established Best Practices.

  • Work with carriers to configure file feeds between systems and troubleshoot data transmission issues. 

  • Provide support for client advisors, support staff, and at times, the actual client.

  • Work with minimal direction to resolve issues and provide solutions.

  • Manage and log work-related tasks using the Team’s dedicated project management workspace in monday.com.

  • Collaborate with the team on defining and refining Best Practices, SOPs, and general process improvements.

Requirements:  

  • Innate desire to help others and the ability to do it with kindness.

  • Able to work quickly, meet deadlines, and establish your own system for preventing things from falling through the cracks. 

  • Extreme attention to detail with the need to understand how things work.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work well independently.  

  • Possess customer service skills including the ability to be accurate, empathetic, compassionate, responsive, resourceful, and conscientious.

  • Consistently seek to increase their knowledge of the software and processes, and to look for ways to improve existing Best Practices.

  • Be a motivated problem solver who can accurately document and communicate issues. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word with experience collaborating efficiently in M365 (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint).  

Education and Experience:

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or recognized equivalent required.

  • Willingness to obtain Health and Life Insurance License in your state is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Health and Life Insurance License in your state preferred.

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.

  • Experience working in Employee Benefits preferred.

  • Experience working in Benefits Administration systems preferred (Employee Navigator, EASE, ADP, Paycom, iSolved).

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
