EM Channel & Content lead is a strategic role leading high level transformational sales & marketing execution excellence initiatives across EM.
He/She will work closely with the EMCO, ICO, CMO regional teams and local teams (Marketing & Sales & Commercial Excellence teams) to drive sales and marketing initiatives and turn strategy into execution by setting the right engagement content and channel EM strategy.
Thus, he/she plays an important role bridging a top-down and bottom-up approach to many large-scale initiatives that impact EM markets, with a focus on top 6
EM Channel & Content lead will be leading a team of 6 CCMs (Channel & content managers) assigned to different therapeutic areas & Portfolios.
Some of the areas of focus are:
Orchestrate a Harmonized Omnichannel Approach: Develop and implement a cohesive omnichannel content and channel strategy for Emerging Markets (EM), advising Brand & Portfolio Marketing Leads (BMLs/PMLs) on optimal content types and channels that align with business goals and maximize customer engagement.
Market-Responsive Omnichannel Needs: Identify and address omnichannel needs to respond effectively to market demands, ensuring that content and strategies are tailored to meet the specific requirements of EM.
Value-Driven Content Recommendations: Create and deliver modular content recommendations that provide real value to colleagues and customers, continuously tracking performance across EM and adjusting strategies and content as needed.
HCP Engagement Strategies: Lead efforts to develop innovative and integrated omnichannel strategies to build proficiency in Customer Experience rep triggered channel & HQ channels
Data-Driven Decision Making: Build comprehensive measurement plans and make informed decisions based on data to optimize resource allocation and enhance overall strategy effectiveness.
EM Integrated Channel Planning : Deliver more impactful customer engagement plans by implementing ICP approach by identifying & prioritizing the key segments with communication strategy & measurement plan for each high value action including optimization of channels (Paid – Owned -Earned)
As part of the EM Commercial Excellence & AI team, the Content and Channel Lead will be integral part of many large-scale strategic projects such as:
CFC Excellence project e.g Cycle meeting 2.0 One EM content tagging HCP Segmentation Self-content generation & GEN AI Datahub adoption WAB & Messaging APP excellence Optimized DSPs
The selected large-scale impactful initiatives are aligned with the EM Commercial & AI lead on a semester basis.
Summary
She /He will be leading The EM Channel & Content Team orchestrating an EMCO harmonized Omnichannel content and channel approach, advising EM Brand & Portfolio Marketing Leads (BMLs/PMLs) on the optimal type of content and channel that aligns with our brands’ business goals and maximizes customer engagement
For assigned brands, CCMs identify Omnichannel needs, produce and deliver modular Omnichannel content recommendations that is of real value to our CFC colleagues and customers, and track performance across EM, adjusting strategy and content as appropriate as per the market needs focusing on Top 6 & EM Knots
This role will collaborate with cross-functional colleagues including RTALs ,BMLs/PMLs, CoLab TA Leads , CBLs & EM Content Catalyst Team.
Key Responsibilities
Identify Omnichannel Needs:
Understand brand priorities , customer needs of Regional Roundtable countries and act on insights across the customer journey
Understand the marketing strategy and customer segmentation to enable the creation of omnichannel content and plans
Lead Omnichannel Content:
Lead the Creation Omnichannel modular re-usable content from Global core material in different formats that can be easily and swiftly used/combined, requiring only translation and adaptation for local regulatory needs in country. Thereby reducing costs and ensuring >70% content reuse goal
Ensure that all Omnichannel content is clearly linked to customer segments / personas defined by global/regional marketing strategy by producing content pills for Each segments
For global brands, lead the adaptation of the global core content package
Lead the production of derivative content mapped across different channels and customer segments
Partner with MLR for timely content approval
Be responsible for the overall project management of omnichannel content creation in Adobe Workfront (From Brief to full approval)
Create content release calendars and align with Omnichannel Integration Lead to ensure timely delivery and pull-through of content in markets
Drive E2E Omnichannel Content Performance:
Lead the launch of Datahub in EM in Top 6 markets and expansion to the rest of EM countries (Training & share use cases with the market).
Evaluate/Track the content performance in a monthly basis in EM knots
Provide actional insights to PMLs/BMls & CBLs
Populate CFC productivity reports / OCE performance reports
Set KPIs & EM benchmark to channel performance
Collaborate with CE&AIs to align on KPIs, track campaign performance data, and gather insights of execution in markets, rapidly adjusting Omnichannel content/engagement approach based on new insights
Identify and scale channel best practices (e.g. support in launching WAB and accelerating channel adoption )
Ensure proper EM content and campaign tagging process to allow for appropriate reflection on Datahub and analysis of content and channel performance.

Basic Qualifications
8+ years of commercial experience across pharma / other industries with preferred people management experience.
Track record of strong networking and working collaboratively across functions and geographies with preferred global /regional experience.
