Responsible for repair activities inclusive rework, dismantling and data collection
The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment from various commodities. The repair technicians is using technical knowledge and tools to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment
Accountabilities:
Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and functional tests.
Inspect and test equipment to identify malfunctions
Diagnose problems and develop solutions to repair equipment
Repair or replace defective components or machinery parts
Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns
Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed
Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure proper equipment operation
Follow safety procedures and regulations
Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and technological changes
Knowledge Skills and Experience:
Experience in a related field, such as manufacturing, maintenance or repair
Written and verbal communication skills
Soldering skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Technical knowledge and understanding of machinery and systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiar with 5S methodology
