We’re looking for Electrician in Aggreko to operate, maintain and repair Aggreko equipment as per work instructions in accordance with Aggreko standards

What you’ll do:

  • Carry out electrical equipment maintenance as per work instructions on Aggreko equipment.

  • Complete major electrical maintenance under supervision.

  • Perform systematic fault finding and repairs on electrical and control equipment.

  • Assist during high voltage Aggreko equipment maintenance.

  • Install or update generator controllers’ software.

  • Complete procedural-based failure reporting using paper and electronic systems.

  • Perform ‘A’ service maintenance as per work instructions on Aggreko generators.

  • Provide ‘On the Job Training’ for service crews (assistant support/assistant technicians).

  • Complete and maintain paper/electronic records as per site specifics.

  • Operate the inventory and maintenance management system (M3, MMS, ATA, or equivalent).

  • Operate and diagnose Aggreko control systems.

  • Perform switching on Low Voltage equipment.

  • Replace, with or without assistance, engine components on Aggreko generators.

  • Operate and troubleshoot generators using generator controllers and the SCADA system.

  • Adhere to 5S and QHSE standards.

  • Aggreko places a strong emphasis on health, operational safety, and environmental protection. Each employee is required and morally obligated to be actively committed and accountable for compliance with Aggreko Health, Safety & Environmental policies, operating procedures, and local legislation.

You’ll have the following skills and experience:

  • Qualified artisan in accordance with local labour laws

  • Diploma in electrical field

  • Must successfully complete all assessments in compliance with Electrical technician core level.

  • The ability to use specialist tools and ensuring all tooling is calibrated in accordance with Aggreko standards and local legislation

  • Must be capable of working in a restricted space and at heights.

  • Ability to work autonomously when required

  • Ability to coach and mentor

  • Be certified as LOTO after a 6-month grace period and maintain certification throughout employment
