Your Role in Manufacturing
As an Electrical Cooperative Education Student, you will be responsible for a variety of critical tasks, including:
· Maintaining and troubleshooting high-speed packaging, processing, and utilities power and control systems.
· Utilizing electrical test equipment to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
· Performing preventive maintenance and calibration of electrical equipment.
· Troubleshooting, monitoring, and programming PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems to optimize performance.
· Diagnosing and maintaining variable frequency drives, servo control systems, and robotics.
· Repairing and optimizing machine and process control equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
· Analyzing technical data and trends to proactively identify potential control system issues and implement solutions.

Job Qualifications
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Minimum of a high school diploma/GED
• Applied electrical and controls skills in an industrial environment. · Candidates seeking a degree in Electrical Construction Technology (ECM), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), or Mechatronics Technology (MEC) programs at Johnson College
