About the role.
We are seeking a detail and service oriented casualty claims adjuster to join our Early Claims Resolution team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and managing bodily injury claims related to personal automobile accidents. You will work closely with our members, claimants, medical providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and fair resolution of claims, while delivering exceptional service. This position can be based out of PURE's Scottsdale, AZ, Charleston, SC or remote office.
What you'll do.
- Claims Assessment & Investigation: Investigate and evaluate bodily injury claims of minor complexity, ensuring accurate documentation, appropriate coverage determination, and timely claim resolution.
- Claim Resolution: Evaluate and negotiate settlements with third party, unrepresented claimants, and medical providers.
- Customer Service: Deliver first in class service to members and brokers, providing clear and timely updates during the claim. Address inquiries, concerns, and disputes related to bodily injury claims.
- Compliance: Ensure that all claims are handled with company policies, state regulations, and legal requirements.
- Continuous Learning: Participate in training programs to develop knowledge of casualty, bodily injury claims, and regulations.
What we're looking for.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or relevant industry experience.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in claims handling, specifically involving the investigating and adjudication of personal automobile claims.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and manage challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and claims management software.
The base salary for this role can range from $65,000 to $80,000 based on a full-time work schedule. An individual’s ultimate compensation will vary depending on job-related skills and experience, geographic location, alignment with market data, and equity among other team members with comparable experience
