About This Role

The E-Commerce Senior Fulfillment Specialist will redefine the way our customers can shop our website (acehardware.com) and our stores.  One of the key pillars of that strategy is to create a truly differentiated customer experience through our omni-channel fulfillment capabilities.  To enable this differentiated experience, Ace is investing heavily to build and optimize best-in-class digital programs, projects, and features that amplify Ace quality, service, and convenience through Fast & Frictionless Fulfillment options via acehardware.com/Ace App.

To support these projects & programs, we’re looking for a multi-faceted Omnichannel Fulfillment Specialist to own digital monitoring, process documentation, continuous improvement / integration support, & analytics for our diverse Omnichannel programs, platforms, and assets:

Ace digital fulfillment methods (BODFS, BOPIS, STH, Curbside, DoorDash), Services (Assembly, Haul Away, 3PL), Fulfillment Tools (ACENET, ARMA, ‘My Store’, retailer/customer notifications, Centralized Fulfillment, Customer Assistance Dashboard [CAD], SKU & safety stock override mgmt.), Retailer/Customer notifications, Drop Ship,  Marketplace platforms, & our Same Day Delivery/Last Mile program(s).

What You’ll Do

  • Day to Day support of all Marketplace programs including issues resolution, weekly updates with third party account personnel and reporting/monitoring of all operational / sales performance metrics

  • Own the “care and feeding” of all Marketplace program enhancements, product catalogs and core features

  • Leverage business intelligence technologies (Content Square, Power BI, DataDog, ADW, Gallup, Logicbroker, & SQL) to curate digital monitoring and performance reporting views

  • Provide advanced analytical guidance, support and continuous improvement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that support our long-term ‘Elegant Digital Operations’ strategies (reduce cancellations, improve inventory accuracy, maximize program participation, exceed performance goals)

  • Develop and nurture the ability to communicate and teach to others the physical and technological flows within a store / online and how to best measure/improve

  • Help the business test new features/projects in the pre and post deployment phases to ensure we’ve delivered what we promised against formal requirements and quality standards

  • Draft and publish informative summaries, articles, or Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s) to help inform key enterprise stakeholders of upcoming Ecommerce project launches & new programs

  • Perform financial and outlier modeling to inform business/project strategies

  • Own “care & feeding”, innovating, and improving of core fulfillment features, assets and products

Who You Are

You love to troubleshoot and are passionate about using data to drive key business decisions. You are excited by the prospect of solutioning business problems using a combination of analytics, process thinking and rolling up your sleeves to experience the processes involved first-hand. 

Required Skills

  • Expert-level problem solving skills in varying different areas with a focus on complex data flows and their interaction with real world processes

  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, and prioritize according to business benefit and retailer need

  • Ability to contribute consistently and positively in a dynamic, high-paced, and sometimes unpredictable work environment

  • Communication on scale of 1 to 10 – Must be at least an “8+”. Ability to synthesize clearly and simplify the complex

  • Perform unbiased risk management by determining root causes, corrective actions, mitigation options and impacts, ultimately providing clear executive level summaries

  • Experience creating metrics/KPIs to show the health of the overall program/project/feature

  • Expert-level Excel and data manipulation skills

  • Competence with SQL, PowerBI

Preferred Skills

  • Strong knowledge of retail and operational processes preferred

  • 5+ years Project Life Cycle experience - Includes engaging project teams and vendors in project initiation, planning activities (managing contracts, resource onboarding), managing project schedules, dependencies, risks and issues, and project closure activities.

  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills

  • High competency in drafting business documentation and summary content that captures details around the programs, projects, and features being deployed into the organization

  • Confidently lead program presentations, post project reviews, & status read-outs to broader enterprise groups to inform, gather input, and gain alignment

Compensation Details:

$86700 - $108000 Per Year
