Lloyd's are recruiting for a Documentation & Project Support Analyst, on a 6 Month FTC (Fixed Term Contract). You will provide project management support in the delivery of BAU and change projects supporting the Corporation and MRC teams to achieve key priorities. Provide support throughout the MRC resourcing, planning & reporting processes. Be proactive in maintaining documentation, SharePoint sites, and analysis of timesheet data.
Market Reserving & Capital (MRC) is the actuarial department in the Corporation and is responsible for market oversight as regards monitoring the adequacy of reserves and capital at syndicate level, and for the calculation of capital requirements for members and the Central Fund
Principal Accountabilities
Project Support
Assisting with the planning and delivery of required deliverables within a project or workstreams
of a wider programme.
Supporting the planning and setting up of projects, i.e. project documentation curation
Identifying inter-project dependencies, ensuring all relevant parties across MRC and the
Corporation are aware of possible impacts, highlighting risks, issues and opportunities and
escalating where necessary
Coordinating updates to detailed project plans and tracking actions against agreed timelines
Resourcing
Supporting the resourcing processes for the department, assisting in tracking and monitoring
resource across the team
Assisting in organising yearly and quarterly resource planning and prioritisation exercises
Portfolio Reporting & Planning
Supporting the MRC Project Reporting cycle, assisting with production of MI for Heads of
Departments and governance bodies (PRA, IMOC, etc.) as required
Provision of project management guidance and ad-hoc project support to MRC Actuarial Project
Leads
Stakeholder Management
Liaising and building relationships at all levels within the organisation particularly with the capital
and risk functions – including heads of department, managers and analyst communities.
Skills Knowledge and Experience.
Working knowledge of project management including reporting and controls.
Understanding of risk management including maintaining risk and issues registers.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and SharePoint.
Familiarity with documentation branding, templates, standards, editing and version control.
Advanced MS Word and Excel ability, e.g. to create and adjust templates, would be beneficial.
Understanding of the Lloyd’s and London insurance market would be beneficial.
Experience of effectively working on projects within a change environment, such as reporting,
audit trails and planning.
Experience in reporting and resource management in a PMO or Project role.
Experience of reviewing documents against agreed criteria and providing feedback to document
authors.
Experience of working with a range of stakeholders at different levels.
