To support our continued growth, we are hiring two experienced Divisional Managers – Merchandising specialized in either Beauty & Health Care Products or General Merchandise like houseware, kitchenware, toys, seasonal and home décor products. These roles are ideal for seasoned professionals with strong customer focus and deep sourcing expertise.
Here is what you need to know about this role:
Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with customers to drive growth.
Act as a trusted partner, providing end-to-end merchandising support from sourcing to delivery.
Ensure high-touch service and anticipate customer needs proactively.
Vendor & Sourcing Management
Develop and manage a robust vendor network across the regions and locally.
Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery timelines to meet customer expectations.
Maintain culturally sensitive communication and resolve vendor issues promptly.
Operational Excellence
Oversee the full merchandising cycle including sourcing, sampling, order follow-up, and shipment coordination.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, QC, product development, logistics, etc.) for seamless execution.
Monitor sales performance, analyze budgets, and identify growth opportunities.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers to achieve divisional goals.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction and agility.
Provide coaching, feedback, and succession planning for team development and sustainable business growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related disciplines.
Minimum 12 years of merchandising experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
Proven expertise in the relevant product category (Beauty & Health Care or General Merchandise)
Familiar with the US market as well as local and regional sourcing culture and practices.
Experience working with domestic importers and key account management is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, result-oriented, and capable of problem-solving.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
Flexible and proactive, with a willingness to travel occasionally and take on additional duties or ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
