Dispensary Operations Co-Ordinator and Claims Analyst

Job Description

The successful candidate will be part of the Retail Regulatory team in Uniphar and will work to drive success in the pharmacies in the areas of dispensary operations and pharmacy claims. Whilst their base will be at our offices in Citywest, the Dispensary Operations Coordinator and Claims Analyst will be required to spend time in pharmacies, co-ordinating dispensary operations and analysing pharmacy claims and reclaims on-site. The successful candidate will be a problem solver with an analytical mind and someone who enjoys a challenge. As teamwork is an integral part of all roles at Uniphar, the Dispensary Operations Coordinator and Claims Analyst will work with many teams such as Group Quality, Finance and Retail Operations. As a result, the successful candidate must be self-motivated and enjoy working with many different stakeholders within a large group.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications, Experience & Skills Required

  • IPU Pharmacy Technician course or equivalent
  • 2+ years community pharmacy experience essential
  • Experience with McLernons Pharmacy System essential
  • Strong IT skills essential, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
  • In-depth knowledge of pharmacy claims, reclaims and the prevention of rejects.
  • Good knowledge of the community pharmacy market, including regulatory framework
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets.  Experience selling business to business desirable.
  • Ability to influence others to complete tasks to required standard.
  • Ability to build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders
  • Full clean driver’s licence
