The PAN India Insights Partner, Neurology, serves as a strategic lead for all research, analytics and insight generation within the Neurology Disease Area. This role is crucial for driving data-driven decisions by providing a deep understanding of the patient journey, physician behaviors, competitive landscape, and market trends. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with a strong understanding of the clinical and commercial aspects of Neurology to shape strategy, optimize brand performance, and support new product launches and driving critical projects/initiatives.
The Opportunity
1. Strategic Insights & Research
Neurology Market Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the market, including key disease areas, therapeutic classes and emerging trends
Customer & Patient Insights: Conduct and synthesize research to uncover profound insights into the needs, behaviors, treatment pathways, and unmet needs of patients
Primary & Secondary Research: Design, execute, and manage a wide range of research projects, including patient journey mapping, physician segmentation, HCO segmentation and brand perception studies, using both primary and secondary data sources (e.g., claims data, syndicated reports)
Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, including clinical trial developments, regulatory approvals, and commercial strategies of key competitors
Data Analysis: Lead the analysis of complex data sets, including sales data, market access information, and epidemiological data, to identify business opportunities and risks
KPI Monitoring: Analyse existing internal data to enable better messaging, call planning, engagement strategies, promotional initiatives, etc. amongst PJPs
2. Business Partnership & Strategy
Strategic Planning: Act as a trusted partner by providing strategic insights to the Neurology Brand Team, Commercial Leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders to inform brand strategies, annual business plans, and forecasting
Launch Excellence: Provide critical insights to support the successful pre-launch and post-launch phases for novel therapies in the Neurology pipeline, including market sizing, pricing strategy, and promotional messaging. Collaborate with Affiliate & Global teams to meet CEETRIS expectations
Data-Driven Recommendations: Translate complex research findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations that drive business results and support decision-making at all levels
3. Knowledge Management & Communication
Insights Repository: Create and maintain a centralized repository of Neurology specific insights and collateral, such as physician personas, patient archetypes, and disease-state factbooks
Reporting & Communication: Prepare and present compelling reports, dashboards and presentations to senior leadership, distilling key findings and their implications for the business
Knowledge Sharing: Foster a culture of insights-driven decision-making by proactively sharing key learnings and best practices across the organization
4. Strategic Project Management
Lead key projects and initiatives driven by central team for Key Accounts, Private Health Insurance, Reimbursement Accounts
Represent key insights and projects from India in CEETRIS & Global Teams
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate to ensure a consistent, insights-led approach across all commercial activities
Internal Stakeholders - DASL, Marketing, TAE, Access COE / Cluster Access, Cluster PJPs, Insight Chapter members, Procurement, Compliance, MAP Lead, Legal & Compliance, Corporate Strategy
External Stakeholders - Therapy Area Experts, Treating Physicians, Policymakers, Pharmacists, Other HCPs and HCOs, Market Research Agencies
Who you are
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, Public Health)
Master's degree (e.g., MBA, M.S. in Health Economics) is highly preferred
Experience:
5-8 years of experience in customer insights, market research, or strategic consulting within the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
Required experience in the Neurology therapeutic area is an advantage not mandatory
Proven track record of managing end-to-end research projects and leveraging a mix of primary and secondary data to inform business strategy
Experience with a variety of data sources relevant to Neurology (e.g., claims data, third-party syndicated reports)

Analytical Prowess: Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in data visualization
