Starting as a casual position, with 15 - 20 hours per week available, CPA encourages progression and there is a pathway to permanent part-time work in the future.
The Role:
Support adults living in CPA group homes to lead rich, independent and empowered lives. Your day-to-day may include:
Supporting community engagement, social connection and transport (including use of CPA vans & in your own vehicle)
Encouraging client skill-building, independence, and decision-making
Providing respectful support with personal care, mealtimes, medication, and daily routines
Following person-centred plans with empathy and professionalism
Building positive relationships with our clients - enriching their lives with connection
What You'll Bring:
We are looking for candidates who embody CPA values, are client-focused in their approach to care, and are passionate about the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of people with disabilities.
A Client-focused and growth mindset — you’re open to learning and ready to make a difference
Professional Behaviour Support experience or lived experience preferred, however your can-do attitude is key!
NSW Driver’s Licence (P2 or above)
Physical capability to support clients with mobility and transfers
Availability for a minimum of 3-4 days per week (15–20+ hours) - Available to work shifts between the hours of 9am and 4pm, including weekends
Comfortable travelling to all locations in the region including Wyong, Long Jetty & Umina.
