Summary:

The Director, Worldwide Omnichannel Excellence Insights and Data will be responsible for co-leading the implementation of a robust data foundation for BMS’s omnichannel marketing initiatives, with a strong focus on third-party (NPP) data integration, governance, and optimization. This role will oversee analytics and reporting resources within the GCC and drive the enterprise vision for unified, AI-powered measurement frameworks, advanced dashboards, and actionable insights. The Director will champion agentic AI adoption, ensuring both technical rigor and business relevance, while managing cross-functional partnerships and aligning analytics initiatives with global brand and commercial priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Strategy
    • Develop and execute a global strategy for third-party NPP data integration, standardization, and governance to support scalable and trusted omnichannel reporting and analytics.
    • Define and socialize the measurement roadmap, prioritizing investments in AI, GenAI, and agentic analytics solutions for core and emerging markets.
    • Provide thought leadership on leveraging AI, machine learning, and generative AI to transform commercial data, measurement, and reporting practices.
  • Data Foundation & Governance
    • Oversee the design and implementation of industry-leading data management frameworks for third-party NPP feeds, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency across all reporting and dashboards.
    • Set and enforce standards for REQ definitions, data tagging (brand, indication, placement), and business rules to address data irregularities and drive trust in omnichannel insights delivery.
    • Collaborate with global data and technology teams to operationalize weekly data refreshes and source-of-truth standards for all NPP and PP sources.
  • Omnichannel Reporting & Insights
    • Lead the development of unified, AI-powered omnichannel dashboards and measurement frameworks that deliver actionable insights to Commercial, Medical, Field, and Omnichannel teams.
    • Design and enable interactive analytics platforms for campaign planning, optimization, and post-campaign reviews, embedding curated recommendations and real-time alerting.
    • Guide development and deployment of agentic analytics solutions, including measurement & insights agents.
  • AI & Agentic Capability Development
    • Oversee the design and implementation of advanced analytics agents.
    • Partner with IT, external partners and brand teams to deliver rapid innovation, robust POCs, and scalable solutions across the portfolio.
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration
    • Mentor and develop a high-performing analytics team in the GCC, fostering continuous learning, agile ways of working, and a culture of innovation and impact.
    • Build strong cross-functional relationships with Commercialization, Insights, Data Science, Brand, and Technology leaders to ensure tight alignment of analytics initiatives with strategic business objectives.
  • Communication & Influence
    • Champion the adoption of omnichannel measurement and AI-driven insights across the organization, embedding best practices and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience in marketing analytics, commercial insights, or related functions within pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required; advanced degree (MS, PhD, MBA) preferred.
  • Deep expertise in omnichannel measurement frameworks, third-party data integration, and advanced analytics techniques
  • Demonstrated success applying AI, machine learning, and GenAI in commercial analytics environments.
  • Strong experience in data governance, vendor management, and business rule standardization for third-party marketing data.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire technical and business teams in matrixed, global organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business domains.
  • Track record of delivering complex analytics projects on time, with measurable impact.
  • Familiarity with commercial analytics platforms and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot).

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $189,430 - $229,546

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
