Cardinal Health’s Medical Products & Distribution Segment is currently looking for a Director of Warehouse Operations (DO) to lead and support the day-to-day operations of our Ohio Valley Distribution Center located in Columbus, Ohio. This leader will have financial and operational responsibility for a 574,000 square foot Distribution Center. Annual pick volume is 2.4 million. The facility is ranked 3rd in the country based on weighted average of square-footage/sales/picks. Ohio Valley services hospitals and surgery centers in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The facility serves as the specialty products hub for Cincinnati & Walton Hills. The successful candidate will have direct/indirect responsibility for approximately 130 distribution employees, as well as oversight and dotted-line responsibility for the Penske-managed private fleet.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
· Warehouse, distribution, operations and/or supply chain experience required.
· Experience in medical distribution or other FDA regulated industry strongly preferred
· Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers and employees.
· Experience with automation, robotics and technology.
· Highly communicative, highly accountable, with the propensity and ownership mentality to drive favorable outcomes and continuous improvement.
· Strong desire to development, coach and insure an approachable, positive culture.
· Experience with process improvement, Lean Six Sigma a plus.
· Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems
· Strong financial acumen with experience managing sites P&L.
· Ability to prioritize, organize and multitask in a flexible, fast-paced, and sometimes challenging environment.
· Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to the given audience and influence outcomes. Can present information in a clear and concise manner.
· Prior program/project management experience with multi workstreams, cross functionally dependent
· Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial and strategic impact.
Anticipated salary range: $137,000 - $211,000
