Lead the implementation, evaluation and continual processes improvement initiatives for R&D.
Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Identify / Implement value add, cost saving, productivity initiatives to maximize R&D investment: where appropriate, provide project leadership for such initiatives (matrix teams and FSP as needed)
Champion, lead and project manage continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and manage interdependencies, ensure program delivers to timeline, budget and resource allocation
Form and lead ad hoc or standing cross-R&D business issues resolution team, Business Partners Networks etc to deliver the strategic initiatives selected by R&D Leadership Team (RDLT) (matrix organization and FSP)
Primary support for cross R&D business related issues
Oversee audit implementation, analysis and follow-up
Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s in science, operations, or business-related field
12+ years in R&D operations, business support
Strong coordination skills with enabling functions and matrix teams
Experience working in cross-functional R&D teams and leading major initiatives
Requires strong business acumen
Requires experience in data driven process improvement initiatives
Established and credible strength in project management
In-depth knowledge in drug research, development and manufacturing processes of pharmaceuticals
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) in English; experience adapting messaging to suit the intended audiences
Excellent strategic thinking skills
