WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
As Director, Planning JD-Group, you will work with our Nike Marketplace partner externally ensuring Nike product meets consumer demand through our partner enabling strategic growth. You will also engage with many internal stakeholders, key partners will be; Sports Planning, Brand Assortment and Business Planning, Supply Chain and Finance teams. You will be a key member of Sales Planning and JD EMEA Integrated Partner leadership team. This role reports into Senior Sales Planning Director.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a candidate who has demonstrated experience in leading teams, driving change and driving commercial decisions in collaboration with Sales:
We are looking for a candidate who has at least 8 years of expertise in Assortment, Business Planning or similar.
Proven People management skills, leading through change
Excellent planning skills covering different business dimensions (consumer demand, retail business, financial, margin, inventory)
Commercial & Entrepreneurial mind and forward thinking skillset to drive the results
Strategic outlook and shown experience in leading projects and cross-functional teams, with a track record of overcoming obstacles and challenges to meet business expectations, as well as developing teams
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to improve e2e processes and guiding innovation in capabilities
Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with broad range of audiences including internal/external senior business leaders enabling to deliver clear, insight driven communications and trade off shaping decisions in the Nike Matrix
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
In this role, you will lead and drive strategic growth pf JDxSport across multiple seasons by aligning wholesale strategies with channel and account objectives, ensuring Nike demand through our partners.
Lead the Sales Planning team for JD EMEA
Develop actionable insights to shape and manage key account-level sales forecasts, order books, inventory flow, and margin performance across Sport x PE x Consumer Marketplace/MPU dimensions, enabling strong sell-in and sell-through outcomes.
Drive sell-in strategy, maximization of in-season demand and ensure on time demand signal
Obsess the marketplace strategy for assigned IAT by banner, ensuring Operating Plans (OP) & Assortment Plans (AP) drive sustainable growth & meet strategic objectives
Serve as primary partner to Marketplace Teams to represent a singular view of Consumer Demand and influence the Sport AP and BP with marketplace insights
Drive In Season execution decisions to optimize results against targets and close loop with Sports Planning to incorporate insights into forward looking plans
Enable process optimization across Sales Planning and JD EMEA team
