What you can expect

As a Director on the Institutional Client Group (ICG) Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting strategic decision-making across PGIM’s investment capabilities. Reporting to the Vice President of Planning & Analysis, you will help operationalize new processes, drive financial clarity, and partner with senior leaders to align financial outcomes with business strategy. The position also involves close collaboration with our product/marketing and investment capabilities’ finance teams. This role is based in Newark, New Jersey, where the team follows a hybrid schedule, working on-site three days per week.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What You Will Do

  • Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and expense management/controllership for PGIM’s Institutional Client Group (ICG)

  • Key advisor to ICG senior leadership, translating financial insights into actionable strategies that drive PGIM’s growth.

  • Develop dashboards/presentations and produce KPI metrics reporting for executive stakeholders and monthly committee updates.

  • Collaborate with the Product and Marketing teams on new product development, prioritization, launch, and post-launch lookback.

  • Conduct ICG distribution profitability analytics.

  • Liaise with Investment Capabilities (IC) teams regarding pipeline and business-at-risk to determine flow forecasts.

  • Produce consolidated flow reporting and share Investment Capabilities-specific reports with IC Finance leads.

  • Prepare and maintain the ICG income statement for cross-platform capability.

  • Manage headcount/compensation planning and complete incentive plan/bonus roll forward and scenario modeling.

  • Manage/implement strategic initiatives and drive efficiencies, process improvements, and enhancements across the team.

  • Deliver functional and ad hoc reporting/analytics and respond to special requests for cross-platform capability.

  • Participate in various analysis and special projects.

  • Provide support for M&A activities.

  • Participate in industry surveys (e.g., McKinsey Survey)

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Anaplan

  • Proven ability to communicate insights through executive-ready presentations.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a focus on process improvement and automation.

  • Detail-oriented with strong time-management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and partnering skills.

  • High learning agility and ability to quickly adapt to new systems and technologies.

  • High degree of professionalism, excellent work ethic, and solutions-oriented mindset

  • Self-motivated team player who takes pride in their work

  • Enthusiasm, initiative, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.

  • Experience in asset management or financial services with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment products

  • Ability to work with confidential information and maintain high ethical standards.
