You are a strategic and hands-on People leader who thrives in high-growth, global technology environments. You bring deep experience partnering with engineering and technology leaders to drive performance, engagement, and scalability. You have the ability to influence senior stakeholders, navigate change, and design people solutions that foster innovation and a strong culture across distributed teams.
You’re passionate about building and nurturing an engineering organisation that’s both high-performing and people-first.

About the Role:
As the Director, People Business Partner, you will serve as a trusted partner to our India-based engineering team. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to design and deliver people strategies that support business growth, leadership effectiveness, and an engaging employee experience.

What You’ll Do:

Strategic Business Partnership
- Partner directly with the People team and their respective leadership teams to design and implement value-led talent strategies that help achieve business goals..
- Align HR initiatives with business priorities to ensure a high-performance and inclusive culture.

Organizational Development & Change Management
- Lead workforce planning, talent strategy, and change initiatives to support HighLevel’s rapid scaling.
- Implement solutions for organizational transformation, ensuring agility and adaptability.

People & Culture Advocacy
- Act as a champion for company culture, employee engagement, and leadership effectiveness.
- Develop and drive initiatives that improve retention, performance, and career growth.

Coaching & Talent Development
- Mentor leaders and managers, providing strategic guidance on performance management, succession planning, and team effectiveness.
- Design talent programs that accelerate employee growth and leadership development.

Data-Driven HR & Compliance
- Leverage people analytics to identify trends and drive informed decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and HR best practices across all operational regions.

What You’ll Bring:
- 12+ years of progressive HR experience, including 5+ years supporting engineering or product organizations in high-growth tech environments.
- Proven success working in global or distributed organizations, ideally partnering with U.S. counterparts.
- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws, HR operations, and people processes.
- Expertise in organizational design, talent management, leadership coaching, and employee engagement.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with leaders at all levels.
- Data-driven mindset and ability to translate insights into strategic action.
- Experience managing transformation in fast-paced, remote-first organizations.
- A passion for building cultures that balance innovation, performance, and well-being.
