How you'll make an impact:

Beyond delivering an impactful customer journey, our U.S. marketing teams build lasting, trusted relationships with medical professionals, internal stakeholders and the sales team to ensure patients can receive the treatments they need. We are seeking a team leader who understands how to design a thoughtful marketing strategy across the product portfolio, while developing and managing a team of product and field marketers.


• Leading, developing and managing a team of product owners and field marketers for the U.S.

• Overseeing the team’s delivery of comprehensive launch plans, from strategy to executional tactics for multiple major/high value products launches, programs, and initiatives.
• Building relationships with key opinion leaders (KOL), our upstream product pipeline team and our global marketing partners to help inform product launch plans, and understand current market environment.
• Ensuring strength of marketing messages based on regional strategies, deep knowledge of clinical data, products, current literature, current competitive environment, and regulatory/legal requirements for multiple major/high value products launches, programs, and initiatives.

• Managing review of all marketing material for the U.S. from a formal content process perspective, delivering on the SOP for asset creation.
• Developing a strong relationship with the sales team and their leaders through deep product expertise and in-field visits across the country.
• Leading major conferences and the associated core teams for the key events within the U.S.

• Representing U.S. team deliverables, marketing collateral and labeling through all relevant legal and regulatory approval processes through collaboration with relevant marketing partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Managing budgets related to product line, campaigns and projects for the team.

• Working with agencies to develop broader marketing collateral beyond singular products or initiatives.

• Leading annual planning for your team, focusing on broader strategy to deliver on the region’s goals, followed by executional details.

• Supporting the broader annual planning efforts as an expert in understanding U.S. market dynamics and potential impact to U.S. market revenue and opportunity areas.
• Leading significant process or corporate initiatives that impact and bring value to the marketing organization.


What you'll need (Required):
• Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience
Work on campus at our Irvine, CA Headquarters


What else we look for (Preferred):

• Master's Degree with 10 years of experience related to working in sales, marketing, or healthcare industry
• Proven successful project management skills.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Recognized as an expert in one or more areas with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization.

• Strict attention to detail.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.

• Expert understanding of related aspects of marketing concepts and principles.

• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and build positive culture.

• Ability to assess and understand market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics.
• Extensive understanding of broad market research designs, develops market research programs coordinating with the global VOC manager and demonstrates an in-depth understanding of commercial goals behind research.
• Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics.
• Possess strong clinical knowledge, experience and knowledge of the clinical areas where Edwards' products are used or intended to be used, understand the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and proactively escalate issues to appropriate levels of management in the organization.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Represents leadership on projects within multiple areas, working closely with cross-functional team, marketing peers and leaders, managing needs and messaging to upper management.

• Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control

For California, the base pay range for this position is $156,000 to $221,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).  Applications will be accepted while this position is posted on our Careers website.
