Job Description
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Partner Success will set and carry out the overall vision and strategic planning for the company’s Native Hawaiian Organization, 8(a), and Woman Owned Service Disable Veteran Owned Small Business partners in the Department of War sector. The successful candidate will offer an impressive background in DOD acquisition strategies focused on contracting with these types of organizations and will serve as the partner-focused leader for the organization.
Responsibilities
• Relationship-centric individual who can identify potential federal opportunities; engage with the executives within those firms; propose partnership values and options; and close partnership engagements.
• Work closely with federal clients to offer contracting solutions in an ever-changing competitive federal environment.
•Play a critical advisory role to understand the partner firm’s strategic goals and priorities and align them with our vision and strategic path forward.
• Be the partner advocate within the team to ensure an exceptional experience for the partners we work with.
• As the primary point of contact with our partners, you will manage a portfolio of opportunities in a strategic way to deliver exceptional results and optimal customer service experiences.
• You will be responsible reviewing Performance Work Statements and aligning the skillsets of our organization along with our partner organizations, negotiating with the Government, when required.
• Develop a trusted advisor relationship with partners, and proactively engage with them to identify needs, ensure successful delivery of solutions, and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Lead new partner and program onboarding by leveraging an implementation team, composed of internal experts and other vendors contracted by the client.
• Exceed revenue objectives by setting and meeting goals for revenue and profitability growth.
• Measure, evaluate, and report on progress while taking ownership of challenges and opportunities by recommending strategy changes and implementing solutions.
Requirements
• 15+ Years in Department of Defense contracting with proven success in working with NHOs under the 8(a) program
• Subject matter expertise in Government Acquisition Operations
• Subject matter expertise in the FAR/DEAR
• Subject matter expertise in IT procurement trends
• Subject matter expertise as it relates to \changes in Government acquisition and contracting policies
• Proven strategic thinker for both the Government and Industry
• Clear and relevant experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
