Job Description Summary:

The Director, Nursing Operations Performance & Strategy provides leadership for the business, operational, and strategic functions of the nursing department. This role partners with nursing and clinical leadership to drive operational excellence, workforce optimization, and performance improvement initiatives. The Director is responsible for monitoring and advancing key performance indicators (KPIs), aligning nursing operations with organizational strategy, and ensuring effective resource utilization. This role does not provide clinical oversight but is a critical partner in supporting nursing leaders to achieve organizational goals.

Job Description:

· Collaborate with operations, nursing and clinical leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that support care delivery.

· Oversee the measurement, reporting, and analysis of nursing KPIs and operational metrics.

· Lead business planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for nursing operations.

· The role is directly accountable for driving market development and financial performance while providing direct oversight for all Nursing Operations, including scheduling

· Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, workforce productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

· Translate data and analytics into actionable strategies and recommendations.

· Partner with HR, Finance, and other business functions to align nursing workforce planning with organizational needs.

· Builds a cohesive, service-oriented team through recruitment, training and development, engagement and retention of qualified team members. Maintains a work environment in which staff will succeed and grow in their professional development and contribute to the overall success of Option Care Health.

· Support change management efforts to advance organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of a Bachelors degree required

· 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, business management, or strategy.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and drive performance outcomes.

· At least 3 years of experience managing a P&L including budget development.

· Excellent communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.

· Experience working with clinical leaders and leading large, diverse teams

· Experience creating process flows and identifying opportunities to improve process performance.

· Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.

· Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.

Travel Requirements: (if required)

· Willing to travel at least 20% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

· Experience leading multi-site sales and/or operations in Home Health Care or Infusion.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $161,727.63-$269,531.05
