About the Role

We’re looking for a strategic, data-driven, and innovative operational leader to join our team as Director, New Product Introduction + Operational Support. In this role, you will drive excellence, scalability, and innovation in the deployment and management of new mobility and fleet products. You’ll oversee a rapidly growing organization of 100+ employees responsible for the introduction, execution, and optimization of large-scale fleet programs, most notably a U.S. last-mile rental van fleet exceeding 10,000 vehicles. Acting as a trusted partner to a major strategic customer, you’ll use analytics, technology, and operational insight to enhance performance and enable sustainable growth.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end new product introduction processes for fleet and mobility offerings, ensuring alignment between design, operational readiness, and market execution.
  • Oversee deployment and lifecycle management of a 10,000+ vehicle last-mile fleet, maximizing utilization, uptime, and cost efficiency.
  • Own the P&L for this business segment, meeting or exceeding revenue and OpEx targets while driving budgetary planning with FP&A.
  • Develop scalable frameworks for vehicle acquisition, maintenance planning, and end-of-life asset management.
  • Build an operational analytics capability to monitor fleet utilization, maintenance compliance, and asset profitability.
  • Deliver executive-level reporting and dashboards with actionable insights for internal leadership and external clients.
  • Partner with technology, product, and engineering teams to integrate telematics, automation, and analytics into daily operations.
  • Serve as the operational liaison for a large enterprise client, co-creating offerings that expand account revenue and strengthen partnership value.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of managers and specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations.
  • Proven track record in large-scale fleet operations (10,000+ assets) and new product introductions.
  • Strong understanding of vehicle lifecycle management, maintenance operations, and telematics systems.
  • Expertise in business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree
  • Experience managing strategic relationships with Fortune 500 clients.
  • Demonstrated success leading large operational rollouts or transformation programs in mobility or logistics sectors.
  • Strong change management and process improvement orientation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.

 

Location: US Remote

The hiring base salary range for this position is $124,600 - $171,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
