The Director, interSYNC Product and Implementation will be a hybrid role supporting both Product and Project related initiatives within the quickly growing interSYNC universe. There will be a 75%/25% emphasis on project implementation tasks with the ability to expand product related functions over time.For project implementation responsibilities, the individual will help to lead projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This individual will manage all project related onboarding of new clients that partner with interSYNC across the various interSYNC product offerings. In addition, they will be responsible for project management of internal and external process improvement requests and coordinate efforts across relevant areas of interSYNC and Webster Bank. For product responsibilities, the individual will work closely with sales and relationship management to identify customer needs and help to define product vision across the interSYNC client base. As interSYNC looks to continue to expand its product set across the financial services industry, this role will consider both enhancements to existing products as well as new product set opportunities. A product roadmap must be developed to help support this vision with key performance indicators (KPIs) provided to measure product success. Key responsibilities include working closely with all functional areas to understand customer needs, market trends, internal and external constraints, as well as detailed project planning where they will define project objectives, create project plans, and manage towards a deliverable date.

What you will do

  • Lead, manage and execute strategic projects for the interSYNC team.
  • Oversee onboarding of new Broker Dealer and Clearing Firms that partner with interSYNC. Manage the addition of new source institutions by organizing and ensuring communication between interSYNC and the source institution. In addition, providing support in gathering and finalizing of all required documents and tasks for program opening. Once the program is open, verifying and approving all data elements in the interSYNC system is correct and accurate before program is made live.
  • Identify customer needs and help to define product vision
  • Analyze, scope and implement process improvement initiatives in coordination with Management, Tech, Operations and Relationship Management.
  • Develop a product roadmap
  • Meet clients to better understand product features and functions that are needed in the marketplace.
  • Perform ad hoc initiatives to meet client needs.
  • Support the sales team with forecasting and allocation projections.
  • Possess an in depth understanding of the interSYNC system. This is the system utilized by all interSYNC employees and supports the daily operations of the interSYNC product.
  • Develop relevant KPIs to measure product success
  • Support interSYNC team members as needed.


Skills and Abilities

  • Experience in project management
  • Excellent detail-oriented skills with an eye towards process improvement
  • Experience in product management
  • In-depth understanding of daily and monthly sweep product processes
  • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft suite skills
  • Ability to lead client meetings with an eye towards product improvement


Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) required


Experience Qualifications

  • 8-9 years Years of business experience and product knowledge required
  • 8-9 years Years of relatable client facing experience required

The estimated salary range for this position is $125,000.00to $150,000.00. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
