Data Analytics & ReportingThe Director of Enterprise Data Strategy & Governance will lead the strategic design and execution of enterprise-wide data management and governance capabilities that embed data governance into business operations and enable high-value use cases across both regulatory and commercial domains. This role will drive the transformation of the Enterprise Data Office into an efficient hub-and-spoke operating model with centralized capabilities and standard enforcement paired with efficient execution by business units in a federated domain model.
The Director understands and assesses business strategy in connection with the value of data at scale by translating the mission and vision of the Enterprise Data Office into actionable OKRs across 'defense' and 'offense' data postures. Designs and applies a comprehensive collection of methods, practices, policies, tools and processes to govern and control the lifecycle of all data assets, that ensures their protection, governance and trusted consumption. Leads the development and continuous refinement of the enterprise data capabilities across; 1. Strategy, Planning, Governance & Policy, 2. Regulatory Reporting & Insights, 3. Data Management Tooling & Operations Enablement, 4. Data Commercialization & AI Enablement. Acts as integration point for triaging business requests and managing demand for data support as part of a multi-year roadmap.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
