Role Overview
We are looking for a visionary, technically grounded, and people-focused leader to drive the future of our digital delivery engine in Southeast Asia. As Director for Digital Experience, Cloud & Technology, you’ll oversee a high-performing team of 80+ engineers across DX platforms and cloud technologies — with additional interim leadership of our 40-strong Data & Analytics team. You will shape our AI strategy, deepen strategic partnerships, drive excellence in delivery, and uplift the next generation of talent. This role is critical to both our global delivery center mandate and our responsibility to actively support the growth of Southeast Asian markets from within the region.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Develop and execute the technology roadmap for DX platforms (Adobe, Sitecore, Magnolia, Drupal), frontend and backend engineering, cloud-native solutions (Azure), and QA.
- Lead our internal AI transformation: build reusable frameworks, create training programs, drive adoption of agentic workflows, and pioneer next-gen delivery accelerators.
- Act as interim lead for the Data & Analytics team (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Optimizely, Tableau) — enabling excellence while preserving their autonomy
- Serve as a strategic partner to business leadership: balance technical vision with commercial acumen, growth enablement, and client impact.
Operational Excellence & Delivery Ownership
- Oversee delivery of frontend, backend, QA, cloud, and DX engineering teams — drive architecture, scalability, quality, budget, timeline, and client satisfaction across projects.
- Operate at the intersection of global delivery and regional support — ensuring we consistently meet world-class standards while being agile and responsive to SEA market needs.
- Define clear learning paths, certification plans, and career trajectories for engineers at all levels.
- Implement structured performance management that celebrates strengths, supports growth, and ensures accountability.
Talent, Culture & Capability Building
- Inherit and inspire a highly skilled, motivated, and tightly bonded team — known for its “can-do” energy and collaborative mindset.
- Shape the cultural heartbeat of the DX practice: create a safe, energized environment where engineers are excited to deliver, grow, and innovate.
- Promote continuous learning through workshops, certifications, mentoring, internal bootcamps, and hackathons.
- Build a senior talent pipeline and future leaders across domains.
Partnership & Market Engagement
- Strengthen alliances with Adobe, Microsoft, Sitecore, Acquia, and other partners at the Southeast Asia level — unlocking co-sell opportunities, early access, and growth leverage.
- Lead solutioning and estimation in pitches and pre-sales; advise client stakeholders withconfidence and credibility.
- Maintain a robust regional network — ideally within the Philippines, or broader SEA — and leverage those relationships for business development and thought leadership.
What We’re Looking For Must-Have Experience & Expertise:
- 20+ years in platform engineering, digital experience, and cloud delivery — with leadership over large, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Mastery in Adobe Experience Cloud, Sitecore, Drupal, Magnolia, cloud infrastructure (Azure), QA, and frontend frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
- Strong delivery track record in consulting or professional services environments.
- Exposure to AI enablement in engineering environments — including ML concepts, prompt frameworks, or AI agents.
- Proven success in managing alliances and co-selling with major tech vendors.
- Deep regional market understanding across SEA (or the ability to build it quickly).
