Job Duties and Responsibilities

Serves as a strategic partner to leadership to design compensation programs that support the organization’s strategic objectives, comply with legal requirements, and is executable in Workday across all our in-center businesses: . Dynamic Personal Training; Spa, Group Fitness/Studio, Café, Kids/Aquatics, Racquet, Membership Concierge, and Facility Operations

  • Consult with senior management regarding compensation policies, procedures and decisions.
  • Establishes pay policies and structures that can be utilized within the organization, including base pay, commission, unit rate, and short-term incentive programs.
  • Provides leadership training and guidance on the proper use of pay programs in the attraction, recognition and retention of team members.
  • Ensures variable pay programs are cost effective and drive desired behaviors.

Designs, implements, and maintains corporate-wide compensation programs, policies and procedures

  • Develops, documents, and communicates compensation policies and best practices
  • Ensures team members understand Life Times total rewards offerings
  • Partners with legal team to ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Provides leadership and development to the compensation team including staffing, performance management, and career development.

  • Establishes team strategic goals and work assignments to ensure team meets business objectives.
  • Creates career development plans to ensure team member growth
  • Ensures team stays abreast of Life Time compensation news and best practices
  • Provides leadership development to subordinate managers

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in HR department
  • Experience designing and implementing base and variable pay programs
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change management within an organization

Preferred Requirements

  • PHR / SPHR/ CCP strongly preferred

Pay

This is a salaried position starting at $118,000.00 and pays up to $163,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
