Director, Business Development, Data Driven Solutions
If you:
• Can easily draw a link between data driven insights and immediate business actions that they should trigger,
• Have a proven track record of designing and implementing data driven solutions in organizations leading to decision making support and assessment,
• Are interested in advanced analytics focused on behavioral insights, mostly regarding consumer spending habits but also market and economic trends tracking,
• Are interested in working with large volumes of data describing customer behavior on virtually entire retail space in Poland,
• Are interested in working for company that values quality and relevance of insights as much as responsible analytics with the highest standards in privacy,
• Are fluent in explaining complex analytics to non-analytical savvy audiences,
• Are into data analytics innovation and feel comfortable in diagnosing what kind of information, analysis or data-product is required on the market to solve actual client’s pain-points that cannot be resolved using just in-house data
• Have a good business acumen and understanding of how analytics can support decision making in vital parts of any organization,
• Have experience in people management,

Key responsibilities:
1. Prepare data strategy and later oversee execution of this strategy
2. Mapping data sources (both internal and external) with actual customer needs and questions that remain unanswered using just in-house data of the clients
3. Actively seeking the most important challenges on the market that can be addressed using Mastercard driven analytics and consulting
4. Designing, prototyping and delivering the solutions that provides valuable insights for clients' strategy or operational excellence
5. Monitoring available global products and solutions in data space and participate as a sales support/subject matter expert in sales meetings
6. Support local teams in data driven solutions sales process starting from identifying actual needs, through solution feasibility study, then design, delivery and to the post-delivery support as well
7. Working closely with clients to not only deliver agreed scope but also discover what are potential areas where Mastercard can support them further
8. Working closely with Core Team members aligning on overall strategy for each sector leads
9. Guiding and inspiring the team of skilled, experienced and ambitious data scientists
10. Improve internal data driven decision making by driving and supporting internal strategic initiatives
