JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Director of Audio-Visual Solutions drives enterprise-wide AV strategy to deliver secure, reliable telehealth and conferencing solutions that enhance collaboration and patient care. This role oversees AV system design, deployment, and lifecycle management, while leading teams, managing vendors, and ensuring exceptional user experience through training and support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy & Leadership
    • Develop and execute AV strategy aligned with organizational goals.
    • Lead AV supports teams and foster a culture of excellence.
  • Technical Operations
    • Oversee design, deployment, and lifecycle management of AV systems.
    • Implement and maintain telehealth AV technologies for virtual care.
    • Perform troubleshooting, installation, and preventative maintenance.
  • Vendor & Budget Management
    • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and control budgets.
    • Ensure timely delivery of AV projects and services.
  • Training & Support
    • Create and maintain user-friendly training documentation.      
    • Provide end-user training and live meeting support.
  • Collaboration
    • Partner with clinical and IT teams to ensure secure, reliable AV experiences.
    • Support enterprise-wide communication and collaboration needs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong problem-solving and user engagement focus.
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Proficiency in AV platforms (Zoom, Teams, Webex) and presentation tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to manage vendors and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to work under pressure

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level              

Bachelor degree required. Four years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.

Years of Experience       

Five years or more designing, documenting, administrating, repairing or troubleshooting teleconference equipment and telehealth equipment required.

Pay Range:

$81,850.00--$122,740.00
