Backed by $30 million in funding from top investors including Rebalance Capital, SemperVirens, QED Investors, General Catalyst, and Flourish Ventures, we’re building the infrastructure that powers student loan relief and education affordability in America.

Your Role

As the Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be a key member of the marketing team reporting to the Director of Marketing. You’ll lead digital execution across two core audiences: prospective partners (HR and government leaders evaluating student loan benefit solutions) and end users, the individuals who turn to Summer for help managing and reducing their student loan debt. You’ll take the lead on executing digital campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels to build awareness, generate leads, and keep users engaged. You’ll also track performance data, support conference logistics, and collaborate closely with teammates to continuously improve how we reach and inspire our audiences. In this role you’ll have a major impact and opportunity to help scale our growth engine.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute paid and organic social media campaigns to reach prospect and end user audiences.
  • Manage Google advertising to drive prospect and end-user traffic and conversions.
  • Develop and implement SEO and GEO initiatives to improve organic traffic, ranking and local presence.
  • Help build and implement email sequences and nurture workflows that support acquisition and engagement.
  • Track, analyze and report on website analytics, social media metrics and campaign performance; deliver insights and optimization recommendations.
  • Support conference participation: logistics (booths, swag, shipping), pre-event digital promotion, on-site support as needed, and post-event follow-up campaigns.
  • Continuously test, optimize and document digital campaigns to improve cost-per-lead, conversion rates and funnel velocity.
  • Help guide marketing budget and spend for advertising and brand awareness initiatives.

You Might Be a Fit If You Have

  • 3–5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience, ideally at a startup or growth stage company.
  • Proven experience with LinkedIn advertising, Google Ads, SEO and email marketing.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience pulling insights from Google Analytics, social dashboards and digital campaign data.
  • Experience managing marketing automation, tracking campaigns, and measuring lead-gen ROI.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally (with product, content, sales, customer success).
  • Highly organized, self-driven, able to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing skills to support content creation, including email copy, social media, and web copy.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience supporting B2B2C or employee-benefit programs (where end-user and buyer audiences differ).
  • Experience working conferences or field marketing (event logistics, booth management, on-site support).
