In this role, you will:

  • The digital learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective learning experiences and training programs. This role combines instructional design theory with practical application to support employee development, organizational learning, and performance improvement. The specialist collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, and stakeholders to create engaging, learner-centered content across various delivery formats (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led, blended). This role also plays a key role in supporting change initiatives by aligning learning strategies with change management principles.

  • Design and create effective learning materials, including lesson plans, guides, and e-learning courses – tailored to adult learners.

  • Identify technology add-ons that can improve user experience and service such as chat bots and Gen-AI and work with team solution engineers to implement them.

  • Partner with functions and plants to ensure onboarding training checklists are in place and executed.

  • Facilitate training sessions, whether in-person or virtual, to teach new processes, systems, or skills. 

  • Ensure learning and training materials are professional, accurate, complete, concise, and clear.

  • Assess the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements based on employee feedback and performance. 

  • Partner with subject matter experts and other departments to ensure training content is accurate and aligned with company-wide goals. 

  • Develop quarterly newsletters for global applications.

  • Ability to work with leadership to define business goals, user interface (UI) designers to add visual elements to a mockup or high-fidelity prototype, or developers to translate your designs into code.

  • Identify and seek out user challenges and devise innovative, effective solutions.

  • Create comprehensive learning programs that utilize blended learning; combining different learning methods, such as online and in-person training.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to guide employees through transitions. 

  • Conduct analyses of key stakeholders and create effective communication plans to inform and engage them throughout the change process. 

  • Identify and manage potential resistance to change by proactively addressing concerns and building buy-in. 

  • Work with training teams to ensure the development and delivery of training programs that support the adoption of new systems or processes. 

  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on employees and the organization, and monitor progress to ensure successful adoption and sustainability.

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field, with more than 3 years in learning development roles.

  • Microsoft SharePoint (site design, content management)

  • Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint and Excel

  • Project management platforms (e.g., Asana, Jira, MS Project

  • Learning Management Systems (LMS) and survey tools

  • Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Vast communications development experience with newsletters, emails, and PowerPoint media

  • Determine all the training materials available for all team supported applications

  • Provide overall awareness of applications help, training, new functionality, etc.
