Digital Health Delivery Lead

Job Purpose:

The purpose of the Digital Health Delivery Lead role is implementing digital health and Decentralized Clinical Trials (DCT) strategies in our clinical operations portfolio to enhance site and participant experience and improve operational efficiency. This role is responsible for leading the design and execution of digital health and remote solutions, including telemedicine, mobile health, eCOA, devices/sensors and eConsent. The role involves working with cross-functional teams and overseeing third party timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery. By staying updated with the latest digital health trends and technologies, the Digital Health Delivery Lead ensures that our clinical operations are at the forefront of innovation, ultimately improving patient outcomes and operational standards

This role is based at our Upper Providence site in Collegeville, PA and requires 2-3 days on site per week average.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of digital health and remote solutions, including telemedicine, mobile health, eCOA, devices/sensors and eConsent

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical operations, data strategy & management, R&D Tech, IT, Quality, etc. to ensure the successful delivery of digital health projects.

  • Review and provide feedback on study materials to ensure they align with the digital health strategy, including study protocol, ICF, site and participant training materials, submission documents, study plans and technology specifications.

  • Participate in and give presentations at investigator meetings and CRA training sessions (travel may be required).

  • Oversee vendor services related to digital health to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Identify and manage risks and issues, including trends at the study level, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner and do not impact project delivery.

  • Stay up to date with the latest digital health regulations and incorporate these into project plans where appropriate.

  • Engage in innovation and brainstorming sessions to introduce fresh solutions for challenges faced by GSK study teams.

Basic Qualifications:


We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health science or relevant field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience of project management within drug development, particularly around clinical study planning and implementation.

  • Experience providing operational support across global scientific and medical functions.

  • Experience with digital health technologies and their application in a clinical research setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Robust problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.

  • Excellent management, communication, and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.

  • Ability to manage external vendors according to project scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards. Experience with stakeholder management.

  • Proven ability to influence and build consensus.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
