The Opportunity
The Digital Design Specialist, reporting to the Web Experience Lead within the internal agency, Creative + Digital Services, is responsible for creating visually compelling and user-centric digital assets that support brand initiatives across Brand.com websites, eCommerce, and mobile applications. This role combines creative design expertise with a strong understanding of digital best practices to deliver engaging experiences that reduce friction and drive business results.
What You’ll Work On
- Visual Design – Digital Focus:
- Translate client needs and branding strategies into design strategies.
- Create concepts, artwork, and layouts for digital projects based on creative briefs and client meetings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners (Writers, Project Manager, Developers, Content Strategists) and creative studio teams to produce on-brand and eye-catching campaign tactics.
- Select colors, fonts, photographs, illustration and other design elements to meet creative objectives.
- Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand’s style or voice through its visual touchpoints and Ensuring consistency in designs and content across all Nutrition Brand digital platforms.
- Clearly present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects
- Design System Subject Matter Expert:
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines.
- Stay current on digital design trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve creative output.
- Provide training and support to team members on use of design system and AEM.
- Create and document design guidelines, templates, and components to be used across the organization.
- Automation Solutions:
- Identify opportunities (such as Generative AI) for automation within various systems and processes across the internal agency.
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Provide training and support to team members on use of automated solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Design or a related field
- 5+ years of professional digital design experience, advanced understanding of design and visual principles
- Demonstrated portfolio showing creative, design and software skills, and experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) a plus.
- Knowledge of design software programs, such as Figma, AEM, and Adobe Creative Suite Applications
- A team player with exceptional organizational and technical skills
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage work in a fast-paced environment that may also have complex demands, including multiple projects with dependencies on other teams.
- Ability to handle multiple projects with short deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate progress and meet deadlines.
The base pay for this position is
$75,300.00 – $150,700.00
In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
