Digital Asset Librarian

Summary

Global Payments is recruiting for a Digital Asset Librarian, who will work on the merchant marketing team and be critical in the implementation and roll-out of our new Digital Asset Library platform. This new platform will be instrumental in organizing, managing, and optimizing our content, as well as enabling employees worldwide to have easy access to needed assets and ensuring brand consistency through a single source of truth for our digital assets.

Responsibilities:

Steward Digital Asset Strategy

  • Drive metadata and taxonomy strategies and approach to support business needs
  • Align asset retrieval capabilities with digital asset strategy
  • Develop analytics reporting that enables sharing of insights and recommendations for ongoing optimization and platform improvements

Develop and Execute Processes and Workflows

  • Develop and oversee content workflows to ensure useful, relevant procedures in place that meet business needs across the system and asset life cycle
  • Monitor and audit assets to adhere to established governance standards; ensure process standards are being followed for managing assets
  • Support workflow oversight and ad hoc change implementation to ongoing platform optimization

Maintain Digital Asset Library Integrity

  • Develop and maintain metadata of shared terms with definitions and rationale
  • Monitor the library to ensure that all assets are up to date and accurate
  • Manage and monitor the access and use of digital assets, ensuring brand consistency, compliance, and copyrights/usage
  • Maintain taxonomy, process, and governance-related documents, including business requirements, guidelines, etc.
  • Conduct regular audit of assets to archive old and outdated materials

Technical Support of System

  • Manage external vendor in supporting overall platform
  • Work with IT to ensure ongoing support of cyber security, single sign on, and other technical requirements are met
  • Review and maintain system security profiles and user access rights

Digital Asset “Champion” for the Organization

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that assets are easily accessible and properly utilized

Provide training and ongoing support on the best practices

  • Drive ongoing education and awareness in the organization, encouraging the use of newly created content by communicating with stakeholders regularly about changes and updates
  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar to update organization on content, training, etc.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 5-7+ years experience in a marketing project management or similar role, with 3-5+ years’ specific focus in digital asset management preferably implementing or managing a digital asset platform, like Adobe Experience Manager, Brandfolder, Bynder, etc.
  • Experience developing metadata and taxonomy, along with overseeing governance
  • Knowledge of wide-ranging file formats and specifications including still, video, social, web content, etc.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ability to manage large volumes of assets, and excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple deliverables, meet deadlines, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to document clear workflows and processes, and for training, user support, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Able to effectively collaborate in a global, cross-functional team environment
  • Process-oriented, able to define and document processes
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to balance priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work independently and manage own workload
