As a DHA Consultant, you’ll act as a key support ambassador between Interfile and the Department of Home Affairs (DHA). Your main responsibility will be to provide hands-on assistance, training, and troubleshooting for the IRE system across DHA branches in the Western Cape. The ideal candidate would be someone who is based in central areas such as Tyger Valley (Bellville area), Atlantis, Paarl, Somerset West, Bellville, Cape Town City Centre and Surrounding areas.
The role is highly mobile, requiring frequent travel, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to service delivery. You'll also be responsible for maintaining detailed records, logging issues, and submitting regular reports to ensure efficient system usage and client satisfaction. This includes conducting system demonstrations, organizing training sessions, building strong working relationships with DHA staff, and resolving onsite issues related to transactions, day-end processes, and product rollouts
- Engage daily with DHA Branches.
- Address incoming requests for IRE demonstrations, training sessions, and one-on-one consultations.
- Organize IRE training sessions as needed.
- Communicate new IRE services and procedures to DHA Staff.
- Maintain strong relationships with DHA Staff and DHA IT.
- Train and support additional DHA consultants when required.
- Keep accurate records of contacts, resolution details, and follow-up information.
- Submit daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports and training evaluation forms promptly.
- Troubleshoot IRE issues at branches.
- Assist with product rollouts, including installations and training on new versions.
- Ensure all responsible sites with issues are visited and assisted.
- Visit sites with POS devices that have no card transactions to investigate the cause.
- Contact sites that have not successfully completed day-end or opened shifts to resolve issues.
- Address all site reconciliation issues.
- Log all issues on Ivanti.
- Ensure day-end processes are successful at the sites you attend to.
- Submit weekly and monthly activity reports on time.
- Provide all required supporting documentation on time, including Site Sign Off Forms, Training Registers, Day End Reports, and Evaluation Forms.
Requirements:
- Reliable personal transport ( The company provides a monthly car allowance to assist in maintaining the vehicle, provided all requirements are met)
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid AA-accredited roadworthy certificate (no older than 3 months)
- Car must be insured – proof of insurance will be required
- Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Western Cape
- Strong problem-solving abilities to effectively address and resolve issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Comprehensive understanding of computer systems and their functionalities.
- Capability to explain technical information in a clear and accessible manner.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Thorough knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
- Exceptional presentation and training skills.
- Experience with Oracle Databases, including the ability to write SQL queries - A test will be need to be completed.
