As a member of DevOps team, you will participate in on-going operational activities (deployments, monitoring, reporting and patching)
You will focus on operational excellence and will work with product/engineering teams to gather and deliver requirements
You will work with engineering teams across geographies to develop DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation
Daily responsibilities will include ensuring that our solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well.
You will build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software in cloud
You are expected to complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
You will contribute to the development and achievement of Organizational goals and Objectives
You will provide continual knowledge sharing, appraising stakeholders of changes, tracking and reporting data for operational stability, developing and presenting POCs. Offer out of hours support, via on-call rota
About the role:
4-7 Years of DevOps or Software Engineer experience
Must possess strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes including configuration and troubleshooting
Must possess strong hands-on experience with Terraform including scripting, automating and solution execution
Demonstrable experience in AWS
Knowledge in Container Development and Deployment
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT and build tools
Experience in modern cloud monitoring and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, DataDog, AppDynamics etc )
Knowledge on Networking and OS fundamentals
Has a systematic problem-solving approach with strong verbal & written communication skills and a motivation to own and drive change
Is comfortable to take initiative, maintain accountability, and sometimes making decisions with limited information
Background in influencing architectural decisions from an operational reliability standpoint
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Effectively work to multiple project deadlines, prioritizing workloads and aligning those priorities to business deliverables
Skilled at persevering to find the root-cause of the issues, learning from them and promoting feedback loops with stakeholders
Develop and track operational metrics
Understand the value of data collation to make data-driven decisions
Embracing culture change and showcasing an adaptable style
