About the Job:
As a member of DevOps team, You will participate in on going operational activities (deployments, monitoring, reporting and patching).
You will be focused on operational excellence and will work with product/engineering teams to gather and deliver requirements.
You will work with engineering teams across geographies to develop DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and test automation.
Daily responsibilities will include ensuring that our solutions are resilient, available, healthy, and performing well.
You will build the infrastructure that allows other software engineers to quickly deploy, run and scale their software in cloud.
You are expected to complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
Contribute to the development and achievement of Organizational goals and Objectives.
Continual knowledge sharing, appraising stakeholders of changes, tracking and reporting data for operational stability, developing and presenting POCs. Offer out of hours support, via on-call rotation.
About You:
2-3 Years of DevOps or Software Engineer experience.
Experienced in Cloud technologies AWS and/or GCP.
Knowledge in Container Development and Deployment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GIT and build tools.
Experience with scripting languages, Python and Terraform is a plus.
Experience in modern cloud monitoring and alerting tools (Cloud Watch, DataDog, AppDynamics etc ).
Knowledge on Networking and OS fundamentals.
Has a systematic problem-solving approach with strong verbal & written communication skills and a motivation to own and drive change.
Is comfortable to take initiative, maintain accountability, and sometimes making decisions with limited information.
Will influence architectural decisions from an operational reliability standpoint.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Can effectively work to multiple project deadlines, prioritize their workloads and align those priorities to business deliverables.
Will persevere to find the root-cause of the issues, learn from them and promote feedback loops with stakeholders.
Can develop and track operational metrics.
Understands the value of data collation to make data-driven decisions.
Can embrace culture change and prove to be adaptable.
