Job Summary
This role will be responsible for development of SAP ECC HR Core and Benefits within NBCUNIVERSAL Corporate technology. The ideal candidate will work closely with functional teams and SAP ECC engineers to build and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that enable HR core and benefits capabilities. This role will also contribute to the planning and building of future integrations and extensions to SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC), Employee Central Pay (ECP) and leverage SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) capabilities.  This is a critical role blending deep technical expertise in ECC today with future ready skills to support HR digital transformation journey.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- As an experienced SAP HR Engineer you will be responsible for design, build, test and maintain SAP programs, custom extension of SAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, and forms for Core HR and benefits.
 - You will support enhancements and troubleshoot for personnel actions, organizational structure changes, eligibility rules, and benefits enrolment processes. 
 - Develop and optimize programs using logical databases (PNP, PNPCE, PCH) and info-type based data models.
- Reading and writing HR data using PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll info-types.
 - Using logical databases like PNP, PNPCE, and PCH to access employee data securely.
 
 - You will have an ability to code in Object oriented programming (OOPS).
 - Implement enhancements where custom programs and info-types are required.
 - Provide technical leadership and oversight (by way of review) for design, build, and test efforts.
 - Conduct knowledge sharing sessions, design/code walk through, and ensure technical best practice. 
 - Partner with HR functional expertise to understand requirements, translate into technical specification and solutions with options as applicable, and provide level of effort including estimates in time, complexity, and cost.
 - Ideal candidate should design and/or leverage modular solutions while assessing impact to existing functionality.
 - Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues assuring meeting service level agreement.
 - Provide support to batch job scheduling, transport management, and data exchange for internal and external partners.
 
- You should be able to work at individual capacity and own the entire design to deployment of solution with minimal supervision.
 - Collaborate with functional teams to translate user stories and problem statements into project/solution requirements.
 - Develop solutions quickly through an Agile process utilizing incremental minimal viable products to obtain user feedback and iterate towards a final solution.
 - Job requires working multiple projects in parallel and maintaining a set delivery schedule on all projects.
 - Provide recommendations, develop customized solutions as needed, and manage follow-up & evaluation for all solutions
 - Assist with identified stabilisation & simplification initiatives to improve overall SAP processes & performance.
 
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in SAP ECC HCM ABAP development and ABAP Workflow with demonstration experience in taking ownership and ensuring high quality solutions
 
- 8+ years of experience of leveraging S4/HANA
 - 5+ years of experience in Objects oriented programming (OOPS).
 - Strong understanding of Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), and Benefits Administration modules
 - Experience with HR info-types with the demonstrated experience in designing custom extensions.
 - Experience with SAP IDoc processing and interfaces with third party benefits providers
 - Experience with SAP ODATA V4 APIs and RESTful API programming.
 - Experience with BTP CAPM and RAPM programming.
 - Demonstrated understanding of ESS/MSS
 - Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
 - SAP Certified Development – ABAP with SAP NetWeaver 7.5
 - SAP Certified Application – SAP HCM with ERP
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Media & Entertainment experience would be ideal
 - Experience with SuccessFactors and understanding of EC (Employee Central)
 - Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
 - Knowledge of implementing AI and ML solutions in SAP data space
 - SAP Certified Associate – SAP Integration Suite (CPI)
 - Experience with SAP API management in SAP Integration Suite.
 - Experience with JS, React JS, CSS, HTML, Groovy Scripts and CI/CD pipeline tools.
