As a LMTS engineer you collaborate with cross-functional teams and will influence the design and drive our # value Trust across teams. You will need to guide the team and hands-on programming experience and need to know how to produce a good test plan/spec. You will help the organization develop customer centric quality applications. You will be responsible for proposing and developing the tools and testing frameworks requirements, to improve engineers productivity in environment setup, testing automation. You will build, enhance, monitor and maintain necessary test automation infrastructure to support this effort.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical work for your team.
  • Demonstrate high proficiency in engineering best practices, such as accessibility, fault tolerance, concurrency, reusability, extensibility, API design, database modeling, maintainability, security, scalability, testability, and overall quality.
  • Lead your team by example in using engineering best practices and in understanding risks and making relevant trade-offs.
  • Demonstrate strong technical expertise in your team's domain area and focus on the most challenging deliveries.
  • Exemplify a strong grasp of how the work your team does fits into the overall system.
  • Write design specifications and test plans for your team.
  • Define the success criteria of research spikes, and guide the team on refining work iteratively.
  • Propose and develop technically feasible solutions, and address critical points to ensure the team can solve the problem or fail fast.
  • Ensure that telemetry is implemented, including edge cases.
  • Leverage telemetry in controlled roll out of new functionality, effectively managing pre-release, canary, and stagger periods.
  • Develop SLIs and SLOs and participate in their effective implementation.
  • Apply modern technologies, design patterns, and Engineering Best Practices to deliver new projects for your team.
  • Proactively seek feedback on your designs from peers and more senior Engineers outside your team, and embrace integrating their feedback.
  • Confidently speak up to share your point of view with others.
  • Use constructive, honest dialogue to address problems and to convince others of your point of view.
  • Participate in the reviews of other teams' designs, and provide constructive and clear feedback when reviewing the work of others.
  • Advocate for strategic improvements in response to changing service health conditions.

Required Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle; experience in design, analysis, debugging, quality assurance processes, methodologies, and best practices; 
  • Hands on experience in Agentforce, testing center and Slack dev
  • hands-on skills with force.com, Apex, LWC, Mulesoft, CI/CD and test automation tools.
  • Candidates should have good hands on experience on Experience cloud development.
  • Salesforce Administration knowledge (is a plus)
  • JavaScript development  (MUST) experience (proficient with ES6+), Web Components, Nodejs, Jest, Webpack, TypeScript
  • Strong experience with using and building Web applications using API first model.
  • Experience with UI development (modern HTML/CSS) and Responsive Design
  • Hands on experience on building Slack development (is a plus)
  • Experience developing in an enterprise environment such as command line, continuous deployment, release management
