At Iron Mountain, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Desktop Mac Engineering Systems Engineer to join our Information Technology team.

This is a pivotal opportunity to ensure the security, functionality, and compliance of our Apple infrastructure, managing a fleet of 1000+ macOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices. If you are passionate about automation, scripting, and large-scale endpoint security management, this is the role for you!
What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)

As our Systems Engineer, you will:

  • Security and Vulnerability Management: Lead the proactive patching and vulnerability management across all Mac and iOS devices to meet company security Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Deployment and MDM: Collaborate on designing and maintaining the zero-touch deployment strategy and optimizing the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution, leveraging your expertise with Apple Business Manager and Kandji.
  • Automation and Advanced Support: Utilize scripting (Bash, Zsh, and/or Python) to automate repetitive tasks and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for macOS, providing advanced troubleshooting support.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

We are looking for a candidate who possesses:

  • Required Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years as a Systems Engineer and 2-3 years as a Support Engineer.

  • Large Fleet Experience: Deep understanding and practical experience managing a large fleet (1000+ Macs) using a modern MDM solution (e.g., Kandji, Jamf Pro, Workspace ONE).

  • Key Technical Skills: Strong scripting skills (Bash, Zsh, and/or Python) , and expert knowledge of macOS/iOS/iPadOS, Managed Apple IDs, and endpoint security.

  • Education/Communication: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and excellent written & oral communication in English and local languages.
