Join Sedgwick’s global creative team as a Designer – Editor/Animator, where you’ll bring ideas to life through engaging digital and print design that drives brand storytelling and client connection.

Sedgwick is looking for a talented and imaginative Designer – Editor/Animator to join its internal Creative Agency within the Marketing team. Reporting to the Creative Director of Art, Design, and UX/UI, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape visual storytelling across a global brand.

You’ll be responsible for designing and producing a wide range of creative materials, including digital graphics, interactive content, presentations, and printed collateral. Your work will play a key role in engaging both colleagues and clients, helping to communicate ideas and solutions through visually compelling and brand-aligned design.

From concept development to final execution, you’ll lead design projects that span websites, social media, webinars, email campaigns, and sales proposals. You’ll also support the wider marketing and communications team by creating infographics, charts, and layouts that bring strategic narratives to life.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong portfolio showcasing your experience in graphic and web design, ideally gained within a marketing or agency environment. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and project management tools such as Wrike is essential, along with a solid grasp of brand systems, typography, and user experience principles.

The skills you will have when you apply:

  • Professional experience: Extensive experience video editing and motion graphics within an in-house brand team, creative agency, or production studio.
  • Software proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma, and the Adobe Creative Suite, e.g. Premiere Pro, After Effects, and supporting tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and Audition.
  • Video production skills: Ability to direct or shoot digital video content is a plus, though not required.
  • Visual storytelling: Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, and narrative across various formats and channels including social, digital, and broadcast.
  • Brand alignment: Experience working with brand guidelines, typography, and graphic systems in animation.
  • Post-production knowledge: Basic understanding of colour grading and audio mixing.
  • AI content interest: Willingness to explore AI-driven video content creation tools (training provided).
  • Global content adaptation: Experience with localisation and versioning for international markets.
  • Platform awareness: Understanding of performance-driven content for platforms like YouTube, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
  • Workflow tools: Working knowledge of DAM systems and tools like Frame.io or Wrike.
  • Tech proficiency: Highly PC literate with MAC understanding, including Microsoft Office and project management tools such as Workfront, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • Collaborative mindset: Comfortable managing high-volume, complex assignments and working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Organisational strength: Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage shifting priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Performance focus: Proven ability to meet or exceed performance competencies.
  • 3D and VFX familiarity: Bonus if experienced with Cinema 4D, Blender, or VFX integration.
