What will you do?

Manages and provides drafting and design support to the Aftermarket Parts Engineering Team by assuming full design responsibility for assigned projects. The position will require independent research to develop and support Aftermarket Parts and Retrofit Projects.

How will you do it?

  • Prepares layouts of subassemblies or portions of projects that require a high degree of precision and expertise from engineering data in one or more of the following areas.
    • Mechanical:
      • System layouts
      • Sheet metal fabrication
      • Pipe routing
    • Electrical:
      • System wiring layouts & wiring schematics
      • Electrical control panel and or sheet metal enclosure layouts & wiring schematics

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Design & Engineering
  • Proficient knowledge of 3D design software (preferably CREO) and 2D design software (preferably AutoCAD)
  • Demonstrates proficient knowledge of design procedures and apply information from engineering standards and schematics, purchasing and manufacturing specifications for preparation, release and revision of drawings and Bills of Material.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of SAP or other Material Resource Planning software to investigate existing material and BOMs.
  • Understanding of Air-cooled and Water-cooled Chillers preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Mechanically inclined with the ability to visualize how parts fit together.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Must be highly organized, able to work within strict deadlines.
  • Advanced English Level
