What You Will Do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Design Strategist/Graphic Designer to join the Defense and Security Segment (D&S) Human-Centered Design (HCD) team. The candidate will support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency dedicated to advancing the mission of this federal agency.  

Typical duties include:  

  • Develop and implement innovative visual design solutions that align with project goals and effectively communicate messages to diverse audiences in the American public as well as within the client agency.  
  • Work closely with the cross functional communications team directly supporting a federal agency, including D&S HCD teammates, to understand communication goals and strategies.  
  • Design infographics, reports, presentations, and other digital and print products efficiently.  
  • Manage requirement gathering and setting and enforcing production schedules.  
  • Engage external printers or other vendors as needed.  
  • Apply user-centered design principles to ensure products resonate with the target audiences. 
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.  
  • Collaborate with project managers and engagement leadership to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. 


What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET/SCI (TS/SCI)" Federal or DoD security clearance.
    • Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a (COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a similar field
  • THREE (3) years’ experience in graphic design
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite  
  • Portfolio showcasing the range of your design abilities 


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Section 508 accessibility requirements familiarity.  

The annual salary range for this position is $74,000.00-$124,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
