Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Contribute to the implementation of the Product/Mineral Strategy (Product Roadmap) by providing detailed analyses to help the alignment of the production capabilities with organic growth ambitions and market challenges.
Drive the tactical implementation of specific roadmap initiatives focused on optimizing the profit pool across the product portfolio

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Data Management & Analytical Preparation

  • Implement and maintain robust routines to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all product-related data (e.g., sales, inventory, costs, quality, market share).

  • Design, build, and manage advanced analytical models and dashboards to assess the profitability of key production circuits and assets.

  • Develop reporting processes, leveraging Google Tools knowledge (e.g., Google Sheets, Looker Studio), to monitor KPIs and track the competitive landscape and market share in coordination with the marketing team.

2. Operational Support & Project Coordination

  • Support the smooth ramp-up of new products from pilot to industrial phase by tracking key operational metrics and managing project documentation.

  • Assist in maintaining all product-related documentation, specifications, product ranges …

  • Play a key role in synthesizing information from Operations and Markets to provide the Product Manager with data on critical issues for product growth and profitability (new product development, Capex, Quality, Regulatory).

  • Support sourcing strategy for the Product in coordination with Geology and / or Purchasing

  • Assist in translating mine/plant balance issues into quantifiable business opportunities and risks using data modeling.

  • Alongside Marketing: assess product rationalization opportunities to drive profitable growth or optimize profit pool.

3. S&OP and Partnership

  • Prepare the necessary data and documentation required for the Product Management function to act as the "arbitrage body" during S&OP processes. 

  • Support the Product Manager in conducting research and analysis to identify and track risk mitigation projects identified via the S&OP process.

  • Maintain strong day-to-day partnerships with Marketing, Innovation, Supply Chain, Operations, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure data and information flow smoothly across functions.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS / COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong analytical skills and strategic understanding

  • Good data management competence (e.g., data cleansing, modeling, and visualization). Proficiency in Google Tools (Sheets, Looker Studio, Drive) for advanced data handling.

  • Ability to positively influence teams w/o direct reporting lines

  • Others: strategic thinking, result-oriented, concern for impact, good interpersonal skills

  • Master Degree or equivalent

  • Very good level of English, any additional language is a plus

  • 3+ years experience in Product Management or in Operations Management or Sales Management in a similar industrial ; 5+ years experience in cross functional roles
