Your Role

  • Drive continuous improvement of AFC Investigations processes, ensuring efficiency, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate closely with other AFC functions to ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Support regulatory audits, inspections, and internal reviews, providing required documentation and subject-matter expertise.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks within the AFC Investigations framework.
  • Provide coaching and development to Team Leads and investigators, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Ensure timely and accurate communication with stakeholders, including senior management and cross-functional teams.

  • University Degree and/or successfully completed commercial apprenticeship in a related industry (e.g. bank/office clerk, business administration) and/or comparable qualification with professional experience in the money laundering function of a financial services provider.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within banking, financial services, or consultancy, preferably in AML, AFC, or compliance-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of risk management systems and tools.
  • Proven people management capabilities.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Good understanding of quality assurance and control processes.
  • Proficiency in English language. Knowledge of German, Spanish, Italian or French language is an advantage
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as CAMS, ICA, or equivalent are advantageous.
