Demand Planning & Consensus Forecasting Global Process Manager

Job purpose

This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in Demand Planning and Consensus Forecasting processes while making a meaningful impact within a world-leading pharmaceutical company. As the Demand Planning and Consensus Forecasting Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing GSK’s global forecasting processes. By driving alignment between Global Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial teams, your work will ensure accurate, data-driven forecasts that support strategic decision-making and improve supply chain efficiency. This role provides the opportunity to Influence GSK’s global forecasting strategy by inputting into the roadmap for end-to-end Demand Planning processes as well as driving innovation by continuously improving process adoption, execution, and process capability across volume and value planning elements. You will build collaboration across diverse teams and geographies to deliver consistent, scalable processes. This will contribute to GSK’s mission of improving patient access to life-saving medicines by enabling reliable supply chain and financial planning. You will work closely with key stakeholders across GSK’s Global Supply Chain GPO team, Finance community, and Commercial functions, bringing your expertise to enhance systems and processes that operate optimally across the organization.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Supply Chain

  • 5-7 years of demonstrated experience in leading continuous improvement projects

  • Able to articulate experience managing senior stakeholders

  • Experience in at least two of SAP APO / SAP BW-IP / OMP / SAC in Demand Planning / Consensus Forecasting process

  • General understanding of statistical/machine learning forecasting process as well as the links with the wider S&OP/IBP decision making process

  • General understanding of financial planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as champion of the Global ERP (SAP) template from a Demand Planning process perspective. 

  • Support the business (Commercial, Finance and Global Supply Chain) with specialist expertise and knowledge of the processes and systems

  • Engage with upstream and downstream Process Owners to ensure alignment of business processes as required

  • Conduct routine assessment of business process performance, in order to identify opportunities to optimize/re-engineer processes as needed

  • Prepare business cases for planned or proposed changes

  • Optimize the use of the standard planning tools (APO/OMP/SAC) to support business processes, including the deployment of new functionality

  • Develop documentation for user-training, capability-build and process-adoption gaps
