Delivery Manager

With solid familiarity in Program and Project Management principles, and through knowledge of the business and established relationships across key functions, the Delivery Manager role will lead planning and execution of multi-phase, complex programs for sales and sales operations. Success in this role requires ensuring alignment with business, legal, compliance and security requirements, interacting with external and internal partners, leading change management efforts and collaboration with our Shared Services Team to scale business programs effectively 

 

This role will report into the Americas Sales Operations department. The successful candidate will have experience in managing complex cross-functional programs, employing project management professional best-practices, and they must be able to effectively communicate at all levels of the organization.   

 

Let's talk about Responsibilities: 

  • Incubate and manage a portfolio of complex, strategic initiatives and processes that span one or multiple lines of business from planning through execution, leveraging project managers and other staff 

  • Craft project charter(s) and plan(s) and manage resources to ensure project schedule, quality and specification goals are attained 

  • Align business needs with project intake process to ensure portfolio management prioritization standards are met, including collaborating between Commercial Delivery Managers to align effort roadmaps 

  • Gain context into how program objectives are derived and provide rationale to team members and stakeholders involved in project execution through participation in cross-functional team activities and observation of decision making    

  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders  

  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project schedule, timelines, and milestones from initiation to delivery; develop and deliver consistent progress reports to project management team, management and external customers 

  • Manage scope changes, go/no-go decision making and other project control mechanics and engage appropriate stakeholders in related decision making 

  • Provide project leadership for cross-functional teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals and milestones while adhering to their roles and responsibilities 

  • Coordinate and collaborate with departmental and/or cross-functional teams and leadership to assign resources, prioritize tasks, and identify risks and issues 

  • Meet productivity, quality and stakeholder satisfaction requirements through development of strategies and mitigations for project risks and issues, ensuring minimal disruption to project scope, timeline, and/or resourcing   

  • Work with Shared Services (where appropriate) to operationalize and transition project functionality and ensure seamless management of day-to-day activities, including aligning on service level agreement standards  

  • Work with internal teams, such as Business Technologists, to document business requirements and develop minimum viable product (MVP) work flows for system enhancements identified that would transition new offerings to scalable, automated solutions 

  • Provide project life cycle ownership through all change management phases; energize and bring together disparate cross-functional team members to champion change activities, ensuring highest levels of program adoption 

  • Act as an internal quality control check by championing legal and compliance adherence 

  • Identify gaps in project management operating plans and recommend and implement improvements 

  • Manage necessary escalations appropriately and efficiently 

  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information 

 

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience: 

  • 7+ years of Project/Program Manager experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration or related area and / or equivalent experience / training  

  • Ability to implement, drive, track and communicate on complex programs 

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence 

  • Proven experience in leading multi-phase projects with minimal management oversight 

  • Ability to develop concise documentation and when needed present to senior leaders and facilitate discussion 

  • Ability to accept and manage changing priorities and address issues quickly by reworking project plans, resources and budgets 

  • Strong work ethic, team-orientation and good business acumen

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $115,000 - $144,000
