Delivery Lead

The purpose of this role is to oversee teams of delivery resources within a vertical/small grouping of verticals based on defined span of control and ensure good outcomes for our clients, the business and our client teams. This role is a senior-level delivery leader who has significant depth in the design/build and management of multi-channel CRM solutions.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

Program Governance & Strategic Oversight

  • Establish program governance framework including decision-making protocols, escalation paths, and stakeholder engagement models
  • Identify and manage program-level risks, dependencies, and constraints
  • Align and articulate technical delivery with broader business transformation initiatives
  • Monitor program health metrics: velocity, quality, resource utilization, and client satisfaction
  • Review major technical decisions, architectural changes, and implementation approaches
  • Drive resolution of cross-functional blockers and escalated issues

Executive Relationship & Value Communication

  • Serve as primary project sponsor maintaining C-level and senior stakeholder relationships
  • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) presenting outcomes, value delivered, and strategic recommendations
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate scope, timeline, and resource commitments
  • Drive strategic planning sessions with client executives to shape marketing technology vision
  • Build trusted advisor relationships to identify expansion opportunities and partnership growth
  • Prepare and present program dashboards, success metrics, and KPI tracking
  • Communicate program wins, challenges, and recommendations with transparency and clarity

Technical Leadership

  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of Adobe AEP technology stack and implementation patterns
  • Present technical demonstrations to elicit requirements and build buy-in on solutions as needed
  • Ensure delivery teams leverage AEP capabilities for multi-channel campaign orchestration
  • Push teams to innovate on opportunities that create efficiencies and drive business outcomes
  • Balance innovation with pragmatism to deliver tangible value

Team Leadership & Development

  • Provide leadership and direction to Program Lead, Operations Lead, Architects, and senior team members
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide career development guidance for direct reports
  • Identify skill gaps and drive hiring, training, or resource reallocation decisions
  • Foster culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Promote knowledge sharing and best practice adoption across teams

Required Qualifications

Leadership & Program Management

  • 8+ years leading complex technology programs in agency, consulting, or enterprise environments
  • Proven experience as executive sponsor or primary relationship owner for strategic accounts
  • Track record establishing program governance frameworks and operating models
  • Experience managing multi-million dollar programs with distributed teams
  • Demonstrated success leading QBRs and presenting to C-level stakeholders

People Leadership

  • Experience leading, developing, and evaluating senior team members (architects, program managers, operations leaders)
  • Ability to inspire teams, provide clear direction, and foster high-performance cultures
  • Strategic hiring and resource allocation experience
  • Strong coaching and mentoring capabilities

Client & Business Skills

  • Exceptional ability to build trusted advisor relationships with senior executives
  • Skill managing complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities
  • Experience negotiating scope, timelines, and commitments while maintaining partnership integrity
  • Strong business acumen connecting technology to revenue, efficiency, or strategic outcomes
  • Consultative approach focused on business challenges before solutions

Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) capabilities, architecture, and implementation
  • Experience overseeing enterprise-scale multi-channel campaign delivery
  • Ability to review and assess technical approaches and architectural decisions
  • Sufficient depth to present demonstrations and engage in detailed technical discussions
  • Knowledge of marketing technology ecosystems, CDPs, and integration complexity

Communication & Attributes

  • Strategic thinker balancing long-term vision with short-term delivery
  • Exceptional communication across technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with agile transformation or operating model evolution

Success Metrics

  • 90 days: Program governance established, stakeholder rapport built, team assessed, quick wins identified
  • 6 months: Engagement elevated to strategic partnership, viewed as trusted advisor by client executives
  • 12 months: Track record of impactful QBRs, high-performing team with development paths, expansion opportunities identified

Work Arrangement

Primarily on-site in New Jersey to maintain executive relationships, program visibility, and operate as embedded business leader. Consistent presence is required to fulfill business ownership expectations and partnership depth demanded by a strategic managed services engagement.

Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.

The annual salary range for this position is $136,000 - $219,650. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
