WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Distribution Centre Support - Pick / Pack position will have duties ranging from picking and packing orders to assisting with other general warehouse duties.

• Profiled and trained on Voice Directed Picking (VDP)
• Moves the cart through the loose picking aisles and picks the required products from product bins as directed
• Places the correct product(s) and quantity into totes the cart as directed, placing small items into bags or bands together for easier identification
• Stages the cart so customer orders can be packed appropriately once picking is completed
• Attaches short pick slips to cart when necessary
• Packs customer orders after selected by pickers from primary product locations
• Verifies the packing list for products selected for customer orders
• Selects appropriate sized boxes or envelopes for shipment to avoid bending, crushing, or shifting of items during delivery
• Packs all orders accurately and precisely in boxes to ensure quality
• Packs glass items appropriately in bubble wrap and places small items in a bag

WHAT YOU BRING

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Some related distribution center experience preferred
• Some related experience in receiving preferred
• Your favourite words are warehouse, distribution, pick and pack, order fulfillment.
